Most patients come to see us when they have some kind of pain or dysfunction, and Dr. Jack Schlingman has four decades of experience that allows him to locate and correct those issues effectively and efficiently. His goal is to go beyond that, however.
Dr. Schlingman is committed to educating patients about their spinal health and what they can do to improve and maintain it. By continuing with regular chiropractic care even after your acute symptoms have resolved, you can help keep your spine—and your nervous system and entire body—functioning optimally. Our goal is to help every patient achieve their health and wellness potential.
Our History
Upon graduation from Life University in 1982, Dr. Schlingman opened his own practice. After decades there, he gave up his practice to join a health-oriented group practice in Mission Viejo that offers physical therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic care under one roof. He also offers chiropractic care in a practice in Lakewood that caters to longshoremen and their unique needs.

Dr. Schlingman’s core value is to treat every patient like our own family. He gives you the care he would want a doctor to offer his own parents, wife or children. Our patients feel part of our extended family, and many of them have been coming to us since the 80s—we’re now caring for the next (and even the next!) generation.

An Alternative to Surgery
Over his decades in practice, Dr. Schlingman has seen countless patients who came to us as a last resort when they were told surgery was their only option after nothing else worked for their pain. Most of these patients had never tried chiropractic, and were skeptical and nearly hopeless. Our chiropractic care relieved their pain and helped them avoid surgery—but more than that, it gave them their lives back.
