New Patients at J W Schlingman Chiropractic
Your First Visit
When you come in for your first visit in Mission Viejo, our team will greet you and make you feel right at home. You’ll fill out our new patient paperwork, and our front desk staff will verify your insurance coverage.
Then you’ll meet with Dr. Schlingman. He’ll do an in-depth consultation, learning about your health history and current situation. Next, he’ll conduct a thorough examination, which may include digital X-rays that we take on-site. You’ll generally receive your first adjustment or other therapy at this visit. Plan on about 45 minutes for this appointment.
Your Second Visit
Before your second visit, Dr. Schlingman will review your exam results and X-rays and come up with a care plan specifically for you. When you come in, he will go over this report of findings and explain what’s causing your pain or dysfunction, and how he plans to correct it. He’ll explain the costs of care, and then, if you’re ready to begin, he’ll start your care plan.
Before you leave, our front desk will help you schedule your upcoming visits, so you don’t have to worry about scheduling follow-ups at every appointment.
Financial Matters
We are in-network with most insurance plans, including Medicare. We also accept all major credit cards, and you may use your HSA or FSA.
